Abdominoplasty

Abdominoplasty, or abdominoplasty with or without displacement of the navel, is the removal of excess skin and simultaneous tightening of the muscles of the anterior abdominal wall. A tummy tuck is usually required after pregnancy or a large amount of weight loss, such as after bariatric surgery. Plastic surgery of the anterior abdominal wall is performed with or without umbilical transposition.
